Ghazaleh Shokrollahi is a Persian artist and accountant. She holds dual Masters in Accounting and Commerce. Since joining the Artist in Residence program in 2012, she has continued to work on reduction woodblock and copperplate etching prints. Her lyrical interpretation of birdlife, and associated concepts of flight and transformation, find form through a distinctly Persian poetic literary and aesthetic approach to being and of apprehending the world.
Her recent body of work was launched in the Artists in Residence exhibition Total Eclipse within the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2014.
